STEM Access For Girls mission is to provide STEM services program to girls and young women in developing countries and prepare them for personal, career, and economic success. By providing the young ladies with resources, training and mentoring these young ladies will develop the skills, drive, passion and ability to contribute to their socio-economic well being and will have what it take to be successful.

STEM Access for Girls brings a STEM-based academic and workforce curriculum to young woman between the ages of 9-20. The hands-on workshops help the girls to develop the spatial logic and critical skills to create change within themselves and community. By doing this, we able to spark their interest in STEM experiences and help them become innovative thinkers and problem solvers. To engage the girls, we use the active learning model, which incorporates collaborative work, inquiry-based learning, simulation, observation and practical application. This allows the individuals to engage in social and emotional learning. The participants collaborate and complete projects in groups. As a result, they become like-minded and have a better understanding of the impacts of their contributions. STEM Access for Girls also provides a unique experience. They become inventors and innovators during activities. STEM Access for Girls is helping girls in developing countries like Haiti and Suriname acquire new skills, mentoring and support through a holistic experience in order to succeed.
